Twenty twenty is the year of micro weddings. Tying the knot during Covid.

But what are micro weddings? Micro weddings are weddings but in a smaller scale. A more intimate and personal celebration with a small number of guests. Usually, thirty guests or less.

Due to the worldwide pandemic (Covid-19) couples were left with the tough choice of canceling or postponing their weddings.

It was sad to see all the planning, investment and hard work that goes into putting a wedding together go into a sudden halt. Unexpected.  Very unfortunate for many couples and vendors in the wedding industry.

Some couples have decided to play it safe and postpone their wedding until next year in 2021. Others are more eager to tie the knot and have chosen to elope. Luckily, there is a way you can still get a nice wedding despite the challenges of the pandemic.

If you were going to get married this year but postponing or eloping are not an option for you, consider a micro-wedding.  You can still have a nice venue, officiant, flowers, cake, photographer and rentals.

You can also find a Covid compliance venue that will work with the number of guests you plan to have. Normally micro weddings include immediate family members and a few close friends. With so many changes in 2020, micro-weddings have become very popular among couples. Talk to your planner and see if she or he offers any packages for micro weddings. Chances are that your planner is already hosting this type of event.  Some venues also offer packages for small celebrations. Remember, Covid is here, but doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate your love in a beautiful setting. We can work with it.
